Jeff Dodge patiently guided us through the design process, and we ended up with a beautiful deck. He oversaw the project so that we were pleased with the end result. It was a second story deck with a stairway, so not the most straight-forward project.

We hired Lakevue to build a deck off the back of our house. It was only one step down to the yard but with young kids we preferred that step take place down to grass instead of the small, concrete patio we had. Jeff helped us design a composite deck that had plenty of space, extra seating, and provides over 500 square feet of additional living space for our family. The deck is sturdy and easy to maintain and we expect to enjoy it for years to come.

Jeff is an excellent Contractor. He cares enormously about giving his clients excellent service, and gives great attention to detail. He puts great effort into making sure the client is happy with the result, and is very much in command of the process. He has a wealth of experience to draw from. I highly recommend him.

I found Jeff from Angie's List - his rating was quite high so I gave him a call. A rotting 22 y/o North facing decaying deck prompted me to finally get a new deck. Jeff inspected the deck and let me know the deck structure was sound and all that needed replacing was the "resurface" and new railing system. Jeff is thorough and worked with me to modify the top storey (10-40) deck that runs the full length of my house. He added 4 feet to one end, as well as sank the piers to ground level (where on the old deck they were above ground, unsightly and kept me from increasing the size of my outdoor patio.) We went with TimberTech decking with cedar rails and TimberTech Banisters. Final deck size was 440 sq feet and it is beautiful! Much to my surprise and pleasure, it took only 5 days to complete this project! Best of all, my old, very high maintenance deck, has been replaced with a beautiful new deck that is now a breeze to maintain and I use it all the time to entertain. It has expanded my living space considerably and I LOVE having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. We even use it in the Fall and burn a fire in my patio firepit.)

I highly recommend Jeff and Lakevue Renovations. He is prompt, courteous, and can help you with design options that you may have not considered.

Our house is a late 50's ranch. One of the best features is a cantilevered deck off the living room that makes you feel like you are sitting in the trees. However the entire structure had finally given way to rot. After looking at several options we chose Lakevue Renovations to do the replacement. Owner, Jeff Dodge was the big reason for our selection.

Jeff worked with us throughout the entire project, from concept to final touches. He listen to what we wanted but always gently offered good advice on alternatives and advice on things we might not be considering. His construction team was knowledgable, tidy and courteous. We were very impressed with the result. His team really pays attention to details. We will go back to Lakevue Renovations again I'm sure.

My father was a carpenter who built the most beautiful decks before he passed away. They were art. Never before have I met someone who could compare to my fathers work. Until now. AMAZING and incredible, Mr Dodge has that special touch. So incredibly beautiful and my deck turned out better than I could have hoped for. I saw some of his other remodels and when we are getting ready to do an addition in the spring, I will definitely be calling Lakevue.

Lakevue Renovations replaced the siding & barge rafters on both gable ends of the house. Removed the fascia and did some repair of rot that was behind it. Then they installed new fascia & gutters. Cut in soffit vents on either side of the house for proper attic ventilation and they painted everything the way that I wanted. I must say they did an excellent job & the price was in the end was not unexpected considering the work. I would recommend Lakevue to anyone I know.

I can't say enough good things about Lakevue Renovations. We originally wanted to replace a few boards on our deck of our home that overlooks Lake Washington but when it became obvious that this was much more complicated due to several rather serious structural problems, we contacted a number of construction companies to assist and after detailed discussions with several firms, we chose Lakevue Renovations. We do NOT regret that decision. The deck is large and is an important part of the home. Jeff and team worked with us every step of the way as we designed the deck, and once construction started they kept us totally up to speed as we uncovered several other structural problems with the home that had to be addressed. Each step of the way, Jeff and team took us through the issues, suggested options to address them before deciding on what exactly we would do to address them. It was a great working relationship and we felt 100% confident that the additional work we did was absolutely essential to the structural integrity of the house and deck. The final result is awesome and the deck is wonderfully handsome and adds greatly to the value of the home. We were so delighted that we are now working with Lakevue Renovations/Jeff and team on a kitchen remodel.

Your crew just finished a deck for us. The deck turned out better than we had planned; the finish work is beautiful.

We wanted to let you know the crew was also wonderful. The carpenter James, came I each morning and began work right away. There was no loud radio. He figured out a way to get the job done every time he was stumped. He actually built the deck where another carpenter (friend of mine) said it could not be done.
We especially appreciated your quality control procedures, first the carpenter checked his own work and then Jeff checked the job completely every day. Jeff, you were even more picky than we were! This really enhanced the finished deck and our enjoyment of it!

Hi Jeff,

We are no longer in Monroe, Washington. You built our deck and roof to our deck. You did a fantastic job! We now live in Iowa. Moved here four years ago. We put our house on the market in Monroe, and it sold in two weeks. I am sure the deck was a huge part of the interest in our house.

We wish you were in Iowa, we would have a long list of projects for you here. We now live in a house built in 1903. And, people in Iowa are on a different clock than those in Seattle.
They are really slow to complete bids and return calls.
